ABOUT OUR THEME:
"One Circle: from Separation to Wholeness"
After a hiatus of several years, we have rethought this important gathering and want to offer newcomers and seasoned constellators the opportunity to form a stronger North American Constellators community, at this critical time in history.
Come to grow and / or share professionally, and grow, learn, and heal as a collective - all in one conference.
Our conference begins on Sunday evening, March 8th. We will have an Opening Ceremony and a Welcoming to our NASC Conference and community, a welcoming to this land in North Carolina, and we acknowledge the lands we all come from currently.
We gather to celebrate and honor the land that holds and supports us, recognizing that each of us carries unique strengths and opportunities for growth. Together, we acknowledge our separateness and our diversity, our strengths and our wholeness both as one and as many. Here we are creating sacred space for empowerment, healing, and collective belonging. Everyone belongs; everyone is valued!
Day 1 begins with acknowledging and Honoring the Lands and Our Roots, both personally and professionally. The lands that our ancestors all came from, and our familial roots, including any trauma from those who had to be uprooted and those who were left behind. This also includes honoring the roots of constellation work, through the many years Bert Hellinger lived and worked on the African continent, so that we can be more deeply rooted in what we do.
Day 2 would move to the Collective Trauma of Separation and its more global/collective impact on society and the nations as we experience it today. It will also include what separates us professionally, as a Constellations community. Where are our roots being held and honored? Where are the splits? What is in the way of our growth, personally, as a society, and as a professional community?
Day 3 moves into the Somatic Exploration and Integration of how trauma of separation affects each of us. How do we carry this trauma, how does it manifest in our lives, and how do we release it. Do we hold it as illnesses or symptoms of dis-ease? Does it manifest as behavior patterns, or beliefs that we inherited or acquired? What is the effect on us individually and collectively as a society, and as a professional collective? How can we use our professional knowledge to experience healing, in our collective and sacred space?
Day 4 includes Bringing the Individual and Collective Energies Forward into the world. How can we honor our differences, and yet come together as a unified and collective community? What role do we play, both for our own families and for our more global society? Can we let go of what no longer serves us, to move forward with love and loyalty to our ancestors, without betraying them or our current loyalties? And can we move forward as a North American Systemic Constellations Community into more wholeness and unity?
Each afternoon, on Days 1, 2, and 3 will continue into breakout sessions so we can further explore the morning theme and go deeper into the field to resolve what separates us.
In the spirit of our theme, One Circle: From Separation to Wholeness, the afternoons of the conference will offer a rich variety of breakout sessions designed to support deeper exploration and healing around the ways we’ve experienced separation—within ourselves, our communities, and our systems. These smaller, interactive spaces invite courageous conversations, embodied practices, and field-based explorations that help us examine differences, uncover hidden loyalties, and move toward greater unity and understanding. Each breakout room offers a unique opportunity to engage in the work of reconciliation, repair, and reconnection.
In the evenings, the circle remains open—literally. We’ll host Open Rooms, where attendees can continue the day’s work, gather informally for practice, peer-facilitation, spontaneous constellations, or simply to connect and unwind with others in a shared space of presence and possibility.
These evenings allow the field to stay alive and evolving, offering time for integration, community-led sessions, and the emergence of collective wisdom. Whether you're there to deepen your own process or offer space for others, the invitation is the same: stay in the circle, stay in the work, and stay connected.
The Conference completes after lunch on Thursday, March 12th with a Closing Ceremony. This is a powerful culmination of our shared journey. This final gathering is more than a ritual—it is a moment of completion, a sacred invitation to embody the wholeness we've been moving toward together.
As we step into a closing practice of contact, presence, and simple offerings of truth, we create a living field of acknowledgment and reverence. Through this ritual, we remember that healing begins when we dare to truly see each other. To witness and be witnessed. To re-enter the world not just informed, but transformed.
Stay to complete the circle—because your presence matters, and wholeness is not whole without you.

Dan Cohen, PhD.
Samvedam Randles, Dipl Psych, LMHC
Dan Cohen specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families heal the effects of inherited trauma and fulfill their deepest longings for love, connection, and meaningful impact. He has a particular passion for addressing generational trauma passed down through war, genocide, and the legacy of slavery. Blending a near-encyclopedic knowledge of world history, mythology, and culture with an uncanny psychic awareness, Dan offers profound, transformative healing that restores peace of mind and expands new possibilities for life’s flourishing.
Before earning his PhD in psychology and training directly with Bert Hellinger as a Constellations facilitator, Dan was internationally recognized for his work in violence prevention and conflict resolution. As a former Strategic Planning consultant to the Director of the Los Alamos Laboratory, he pivoted away from national security to become a founding member of the City of Cambridge(MA) Peace Commission in 1981. For over four decades, he has devoted himself to understanding the violent and hostile urges that shadow the human heart.
Since 2000, Dan has been a leading voice in integrating personal, ancestral, and spirit consciousness into therapeutic practice. He holds a PhD in psychology from Saybrook University and an MBA from Boston University. Dan is the author of I Carry Your Heart in My Heart: Family Constellations in Prison and numerous scholarly articles and book chapters. He has led Seeing with Your Heart workshops and training courses across 19 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, South America, Africa, and throughout the United States. When he’s not with clients or teaching, Dan can be found writing reflections on a recent class, chasing the latest theories on consciousness, or reading scientific research most people wouldn’t touch without a glossary. He walks daily along the shore of Martha’s Vineyard with his dog Ruby, listening for eternal truths in the ocean wind—and occasionally offering dry commentary in return.
A devoted father, partner, and adoring grandfather, Dan lights up most when his family and dear friends are near. In his world, brilliance and humility walk side by side—stalking wise words and wisecracks in equal measure. A longtime Red Sox fan, he’s intimately acquainted with hope and heartbreak—and still shows up to every season with unwavering enthusiasm tempered by just the right amount of irony.

She receives nourishment from ritual, gratitude, and the simple act of greeting each new day with movement under the rising sun, offering thanks for the unseen worlds that shape her path. Rooted in reverence and alive with boundless energy, Emily is frequently found in heartfelt gatherings with friends and family or joyfully supporting the creative visions of others. A natural night owl, Emily does some of her most inspired work under moonlight, when the veils are thin and her love of the liminal hums with possibility.
